The next installment of our Working Wednesdays advocacy series: BIRDS OF A FEATHER Flock Together: Follow the Journey of Two Activists Working to Help Immigrants During These Troubling Times.

Working Wednesdays are in-person, hands-on sessions designed to educate, engage and empower advocates at every experience level. Each month tackles a timely issue, offering opportunities to learn, connect and take meaningful action in our community.

This month, Lisa Vahey and Donna Weinberger will share their work fighting FLOCK cameras and their involvement with the Interfaith Group Against Hate (IGAH)—two efforts working to protect and support immigrants in our local communities.

Come learn more about what is happening close to home, how Lisa and Donna became involved in this work, and what keeps them energized and engaged. Whether you’re new to advocacy or have been involved for years, we promise an informative and inspiring afternoon!
